It’s been a minute since I’ve posted something new, and I attribute this to a number of factors, not the least of which is the pace of change I myself have had to adjust to, as well as my immersion in other projects, such as bringing my first children’s book to market on Amazon- which is now a done deal. Fyi, it’s called Zachary and the Universe.
That’s the only plug I’m prepared to make here, lol. Now back to the topic of recalibration. Not only have I had to make some interesting adjustments in my home and business life, but the United States, where I still reside, is now in the hands of a new President.
It’s pretty clear from this first month in office that the new administration is slightly different from the old one: I try and rationalize it all as the ying and yang of life- it’s now time for these guys (and girls) however you want to characterize them, to get their turn at bat- and the landscape certainly has a different vibe than before.
I’m not a big fan of disruption for disruption’s sake: I am viewing some of these proposals with a skeptical eye and prefer to wait and see how they unfold, and if they actually come to pass. But it’s clear to me that some of the beliefs that were considered sacred to many Americans are being reconsidered, and in some cases just discarded.
It seems a perfect time for everyone, including myself, to recalibrate what’s important to us personally, as a nation, and globally- this is no easy task but could prove extremely valuable in maintaining balance, health, and a reasonable sense of security.
